A solution of methyl 3-(3-(1-(2-hydroxyphenyl)cyclopropylamino)-2-oxopyrazin-1(2H)-yl)-4-methylbenzoate (Example 167c) 0.45 g) dissolved in acetonitrile (8 mL) was treated with potassium carbonate (1.589 g) and 1-bromo-2-chloroethane (0.953 mL) under nitrogen. The resulting suspension was stirred at 83° C. for 10 h.
