5-(2,3-Dihydro-1H-inden-5-yl)-3-(1-hydrazonoethyl)-1-methyl-1H-pyrazol-4-ol (47 mg, 0.174 mmol) in N,N-dimethylformamide (0.94 mL) was stirred with 4-isothiocyanatobenzoic acid (33 mg, 0.184 mmol) at room temperature for 4 hours and 40 minutes. After the reaction, 0.94 mL of water was added, and the resulting pale yellow solid was collected by filtration, washed with water and dried under reduced pressure to obtain the desired product (62 mg, 79% yield).
