Reaction Steps

The reaction and aftertreatment were conducted in the same manner as in Example 162f by using the (1S*,2R*,5S*)-5-{[tert-butyl(dimethyl)silyl]oxy}-2-(1-methyl-1H-pyrazol-5-yl)cyclohexyl benzoate (327 mg, 1.09 mmol) prepared in Example 163e, potassium carbonate (301 mg, 2.18 mmol) and methanol (5.0 mL), to yield the title compound (207 mg, 87%) as a colorless oil.
