(E)-3-(5-amino-2-(4-methoxy-2-methylphenethyl)benzo[f][1,7]naphthyridin-8-yl)acrylic acid was prepared from (E)-ethyl 3-(5-amino-2-(4-methoxy-2-methylphenethyl)benzo[f][1,7]naphthyridin-8-yl)acrylate (from Example 80) following the procedures described for Example 68. 1H NMR of TFA salt (DMSO-d6): δ 12.66 (s, 1H), 9.09 (s, 1H), 8.88 (s, 1H), 8.66 (d, 1H), 7.95 (d, 1H), 7.91 (s, 1H), 7.75 (d, 1H), 7.10 (d, 1H), 6.77-6.71 (m, 2H), 6.68 (dd, 1H), 3.70 (s, 3H), 3.16 (t, 2H), 3.00 (t, 2H), 2.30 (s, 3H).
