The title compound was prepared by the procedure described in Example 18 using 17.7 g of 2-ethyl-6-methylphenyl-isothiocyanate, 21.2 g of N-isopropyl glycine, 21.0 g of triethyl amine, and 300 mL of chloroform. Crystallization from ethanol afforded the title compound (13.0 g) as a light yellow solid, m.p. 132°-134° C. Anal. Calcd. for. C15H20N2OS: C, 65.18; H, 7.29; N, 10.14. Found: C, 65.06; H, 7.37; N, 10.20. Mass spectrum (EI, M.+) m/z 276.
