Reaction Steps
The carboxylic acid from Example C (0.53 g, 3.29 mmol) was reacted with 1-ethyl-2,3,4,5-tetrahydro-1H-1,5-benzodiazepine from Example 23B (0.514 g, 2.92 mmol) according to the procedure in Example 1A. The product was purified by flash chromatography on silica (eluant EtOAc:pet. ether 60:40); yield 0.55 g (59%).
