Reaction Steps
Methanesulfonyl chloride (367 mg) and triethylamine (649 mg) were added successively to a solution of tert-butyl 2-{4-[3-(1-hydroxy-1-methylethyl)-1-(4-methoxy-phenyl)-1H-pyrazol-5-yl]phenoxy}ethylcarbamate obtained by Example 6 (1.0 g) and N,N-dimethylformamide (91.5 mg) in dichloromethane (10 ml) and the mixture was stirred at room temperature for 2 hrs. Additional methanesulfonyl chloride and triethylamine were added until all starting material was consumed with stirring at the same temperature.
