Reaction Steps
The titled compound was synthesized from 1-benzyl-4-methyl-1,3,4,5-tetrahydro-1,5-benzodiazepin-2(2H)-one and phthalimidoacetyl chloride in substantially the same manner as in Working Example 46. Yield 61%. m.p. 248°-250° C. (diethyl ether).
