Reaction Steps
The compound 1,2-bis-(2-cyanophenoxy)-3,5-di-tert-butylbenzene was prepared, according to the procedure of Example 1, by reacting 2-fluorobenzonitrile with 1,2-dihydroxy-3,5-di-tert-butyl benzene. The product was recrystallized from ethanol to give a 90.1% yield of the title compound with the formula: ##STR11##
