The title compound was prepared as described in General Method 5 using 4.53 g (20 mmol) of 3-(4-hydroxy-phenyl)-1-phenyl-propan-1-one from Example L, 1.64 g (24 mmol) of imidazole, 3.62 g (24 mmol) of t-butyldimethylsilyl chloride and 80 mL of CH2Cl2. The product was carried on crude to the next step (see Example TT).
