PROCEDURE

In 10 ml of methylene chloride was dissolved 1.23 g of 4-benzyloxybenzoic acid chloride, and a solution of 0.96 g of optically active 1,1,1-trifluoro-2-decanol, 0.55 g of dimethylaminopyridine, and 0.48 g of triethylamine in 20 ml of methylene chloride was added thereto in small portions under ice-cooling.
