Procedure
To a solution of 2,3,4,5-tetrahydro-benzoxepin-4-amine (0.95 g, 5.8 mmol) in 50 ml of ethyl acetate was added 1.18 g (5.8 mmol) of 2,6-bis(1-methylethyl)phenyl isocyanate. The resulting mixture was stirred at room temperature for 20 hours. The precipitated solid was collected by filtration, washed with ethyl acetate, and dried to yield 1.1 g of N-[2,6-bis(1-methylethyl)-phenyl]-N'-(2,3,4,5-tetrahydrobenzoxepin-4-yl)urea, mp 184-186° C.
