By the procedure of Example 9, Step C, [[2'-(N-t-butylsulfamoyl)biphenyl-4-yl)methyl]amine (from Step F) was reacted with ethyl valerimidate carbethoxyhydrazone (from Example 2, Step A) to give a 72% yield of the title compound as a white foam; satisfactory purity by TLC in 94:6 CH2Cl2 --MeOH.
