Reaction Steps
3.0 g (16.8 mmol) 5-Difluoromethoxy-3-hydrazino-1-methylpyrazole was added to 25 ml ethanol and treated dropwise with 2.96 g (16.0 mmol) ethyl dimethylaminomethylenacetate dissolved in 25 ml ethanol. The mixture was heated under reflux for 2 hours. After cooling the precipitate was suction filtered off.
