Reaction Steps
A mixture of 8.0 g (0.017 mol) of 3-[2-[[2[2-(diethylamino)ethyl]-9-methoxy-2H[1]benzothiopyrano-[4,3,2-cd]indazol-5-yl]amino]ethyl]-2-oxazolidinone, 70 ml of 2N KOH in MeOH, 35 ml of THF, and 35 ml of H2O was treated and the product isolated as described in Example 56 to furnish 6.4 g of the product, mp 111°-115° C.
