Reaction Steps
Prepared according to the method described in Example 4(f) above from (R)-N2 -(diphenylacetyl)-(R)-N-(1-phenylethyl)ornithine amide (0.50 g; 1.0 mmol; from step (c) above), N,N'-bis(Cbz)-S-methylisothiourea (0.40 g; 1.1 mmol) and DiPEA (0.3 mL; 1.6 mmol) yielding 0.58 g (73%) of the sub-title compound as a solid.
