A small scoop of 10% Pd/C catalyst was added to a solution of 41c in 15 ml methanol. The flask was evacuated and filled with hydrogen three time. The reaction mixture was stirred three hours under H2 balloon atmosphere and filtered through a pad of celite. Evaporation of solvent yielded 169 mg (100%) of a gray solid. The crude product was used without purification.
