Reaction Steps
The procedure of Example 6, Method B (iv, v) is followed using ethyl (E)-3-[2-n-butyl-1-{(trimethylsilyl)ethoxymethyl}-1H-imidazol-5-yl]-2-(2-thienyl)methyl-2heptenoate in in place of ethyl (E)-3-[2-n-butyl-1-{(trimethylsilyl) ethoxymethyl}-1H-imidazol-5-yl]-2-(5-methyl-2-furyl)methyl-2-heptanoate to give the title compound.
