14.50 g (40.6 mmol) of 4-(2-(1,1,2,2,3,3-hexafluoropropoxy)-1,1,2-trifluoroethoxy)-aniline were added to 9.26 g (40.6 mmol) of 1,3-dimethyl-5-ethoxycarbonylbarbituric acid in 100 ml of toluene, the mixture was stired under reflux for 2.5 hours and concentrated and the residue was recrystallized from methanol.
