N,N-Diethyl-2,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)benzamide was prepared from 2,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)benzoyl chloride and diethylamine according to General Method E1. The desired intermediate was isolated in quantitative yield (11.3 g) without additional purification.
