16 g of 1-[3-(4cyano-phenyl)propionyl]-6-trifluoracetylamino-1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-quinoline are dissolved in 70 ml of methanol and 50 ml of dioxan and stirred with 200 ml of 1N sodium hydroxide solution for 2 hours at 40° C. Then the mixture is extracted with methylene chloride, the organic phase is dried over sodium sulphate and concentrated by evaporation.
