The title compound was prepared according to the procedure described in step 2 of Example 1 from 4-chloro-2-(ethoxycarbonylamino)benzonitrile (Example 1, step 1) and [3,4-bis(methoxymethyloxy)]phenacyl chloride (step 1). 1H-NMR (CDCl3) δ: 8.25 (1H, d, J=1.8 Hz), 7.61 (1H, d, J=2.2 Hz), 7.52 (1H, d, J=8.0 Hz), 7.39 (1H, dd, J=8.4, 1.8 Hz), 7.29 (1H, dd, J=8.4, 1.8 Hz), 7.18 (1H, d, J=8.4 Hz), 5.72 (2H, br s), 5.29 (2H, s), 5.25 (2H, s), 3.86 (2H, q, J=7.3 Hz), 3.52 (6H, s), 0.91 (3H, t, J=7.3 Hz).
