Procedure
In the ethyl acetate (30 mL) and methanol (12 mL) mixed solution of ethyl 3-(4-t-butoxycarbonylamino-tetrahydro-pyran-4-yl)-acrylate which had been obtained in 3), 5% palladium carbon catalyst was added at room temperature. The reaction mixture was stirred under the hydrogen gas stream at room temperature for 75 minutes. The palladium catalyst was removed by filtration with Celite, and the filtrate was concentrated and dried up to give colorless oily matter (2.69 g).
