To 5-(3-chlorophenylamino)pyrazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidine-3-carbaldehyde (50 mg, 0.184 mmol) in 1 ml EtOH was added 2,4-thiazolidinedione (22 mg, 0.184 mmol) and piperidine (54 μL, 0.184 mmol). The mixture was heated in Microwave (200 W) for 60 minutes at 80° C. The solid formed was isolated by filtration and air dried to give 5-((5-(3-chlorophenylamino)pyrazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidin-3-yl)methylene)thiazolidine-2,4-dione. LCMS (M+1=372)
