Reaction Steps

To 4-methoxy-3-(pyrrolidine-1-carbonyl)-5-trifluoromethylbenzoic acid (785 mg), toluene (8 mL) and oxalyl chloride (0.64 mL) were added, and then the mixture was stirred at room temperature for 22 hours. The solvent was distilled off under reduced pressure and the obtained product was used for the synthesis of (d).
