To a stirring solution of methyl 4-(1-(tert-butoxycarbonyl)piperidin-4-yloxy)-1-(4-(methylsulfonyl)phenyl)-6-oxo-1,6-dihydropyridazine-3-carboxylate (1015 mg, 2.0 mmol) in THF (15 mL) at room temperature under argon was added 7M ammonia in methanol (4.3 mL, 30 mmol). The reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature overnight. The solvents were removed in vacuo. The crude product 1.0 g (100%) was used directly to next step. MS (ESI) 437 (M+H-tBu).
