Procedure

After adding 9 ml of tetrahydrofuran to 55 mg of the 4-{4-[3-(4-fluorophenyl)ureido]phenoxy)-7H-pyrrolo[2,3-d]pyrimidine-6-carboxylic acid ethyl ester synthesized in Example 163 and stirring the mixture, 25 mg of lithium aluminum hydride was added at room temperature and the mixture was stirred for 2 days. Water was then added, liquid separation and extraction were performed with an ethyl acetate-tetrahydrofuran mixed solvent, and the organic layer was filtered with celite and concentrated to dryness to obtain 35 mg of the title compound.
