Procedure

The title compound is prepared as described in EXAMPLE 1, Part K using 6-chloro-benzo[b]thiophene-2-sulfonyl chloride and 3-amino-1-(1-benzenesulfonyl-4-chloro-1H-pyrrolo[3,2-c]pyridin-2-ylmethyl)-pyrrolidin-2-one hydrochloride as the starting material. The crude product is purified by column chromatography eluting with a gradient of 1% MeOH/CH2Cl2 to 3% MeOH/CH2Cl2 to give the product as a white solid.
