2-[3-(2,6-Dioxo-1,3-dipropyl-2,3,6,7-tetrahydro-1H-purin-8-yl)-bicyclo[3.2.1]oct-8-yl]-malonic acid was converted to the product by refluxing in MeOH in the presence of 1N KOH (1 ml) for 2 days. Mass (ES+403).
