Methyl 2-(3-fluoro-4-{[({4-[4-(2-{[(2S)-2-hydroxy-3-(4-hydroxyphenoxy)propyl]amino)ethyl)anilino]-1-piperidinyl}carbonyl)amino]methyl}phenoxy)acetate (0.107 g, 0.2 mmol) was dissolved in tetrahydrofuran. To this solution was added 1N LiOH (2 mL, 0.2 mmol) and stirred at ambient temperature for four days. The solvent was removed in vacuo and the resulting solid lyophilized to yield the title compound (0.075 g, 0.1 mmol).
