The title compound was prepared from Nα-isobutyl-Nα-(4-methylbenzenesulfonyl)-Nε-iodoacetyl-L-lysine (200 mg, 0.38 mmol, product of step B above) by following the indications of general procedure H using DIEA (0.19 mL, 1.09 mmol) and aniline (0.16 mL, 1.76 mmol). The crude material was purified by preparative HPLC. The product was isolated as a solid (90 mg, 48% yield).
