To a stirring solution of N-(3-acetylphenyl)-N′-((3S,4S)-4-{[4-(4-fluorobenzyl)cyclohexyl]amino}tetrahydro-3-furanyl)urea (14 mg, 0.030 mmol) in dichloromethane (1 mL) was added 1.0 M hydrogen chloride in ether (300 μL, 0.030 mmol). After 5 min, the resulting solution was concentrated and the residue lyopholized to afford the desired hydrochloride (15 mg, 100%) as a white solid. MS (ESI) 454 (M−Cl).
