To 2 mL of a dichloromethane solution containing 11 mg of 4-hydroxy-1-(2-(7-methoxy-2-oxoquinoxalin-1(2H)-yl)ethyl)-N-methylpiperidine-2-carboxamide, 13 mg of Dess-Martin periodinane was added at room temperature, and the mixture was stirred at the same temperature for 1 hour.
