1.4 g of trans-4-(tert-butyloxycarbonylaminomethyl)-benzyloxycarbonylaminocyclohexane are dissolved in 30 ml of methanol and, after addition of 0.3 g of palladium/active carbon catalyst, hydrogenated at room temperature under 50 psi for one hour. After filtration, the solvent is distilled off in a rotary evaporator. The residue is employed without purification. P Yield: 1.02 g (100% of theory) of a colourless wax,; Rf : 0.28 (alumina; -methylene chloride/methanol=10:1)
