0.85 ml of Jones' reagent were introduced under an inert gas atmosphere into a solution of 741 mg of the product of stage B in 10 ml of acetone and the mixture was stirred for 7 hours. The precipitate formed was filtered off and dried to obtain 620 mg of the expected product with a Rf=0.5 (dichloromethane/methanol 9/1).
