To a solution of 1-benzyl-N-(3,4-difluorobenzyl)-6-hydroxy-2-isopropyl-1H-indole-3-carboxamide (Compound 8, 39 mg, 0.090 mmol) in CH2Cl2 (2.0 ml) was added i-Pr2NEt (47 μl, 0.27 mmol) and MOMCl (35 μl, 0.45 mmol). The reaction was stirred at room temperature for 4 h, and was purified directly by PTLC on silica gel (30% EtOAc-hexanes) to yield the title compound as a white solid.
