Ethyl 3-(5-(2-(((4-bromophenyl)amino)methyl)-5-chlorophenyl)picolinamido)propanoate (84 mg, 0.16 mmol), (4-acetylphenyl)boronic acid (32 mg, 0.20 mmol), Pd(dppf)Cl2 (18 mg, 0.02 mmol), 2M aqueous Na2CO3 (0.22 mL, 0.44 mmol) were dissolved in 1,4-dioxane (1.2 mL) and the resulting mixture was heated to 90° C. After 16 h the resulting mixture was cooled to room temperature, acidified with 2N HCl, filtered through CELITE and the filtrate was diluted with EtOAc, washed with water and saturated aqueous NaHCO3. The organic layer was dried (Na2SO4), concentrated and purified via column chromatography to yield the title compound.
