Reaction Steps
1-(3-Chloropropyl)pyrrolidine (1.142 g) was dissolved in methanol (38 ml) and the solution refluxed overnight. The solution was evaporated to dryness on a rotary evaporator to give 4-azoniaspiro[3,4]octane chloride as an impure oil.
