The title compound was prepared from 4-benzyloxy-2-chloro-7-methoxy-8-methyl-quinoline (63) and 3,5-dimethylpyrazole following the procedure reported for the preparation of 4-hydroxy-2-(3-isopropylpyrazol-1-yl)-7-methoxy-8-methylquinoline (64): m/z=284 (M+H)+.
