To a solution of 157a (60 mg, 0.10 mmol) in THF/i-propanol/water (4 mL/4 mL/1 mL) was added lithium hydroxide (24 mg, 1.0 mmol). The reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature for 0.5 h and concentrated under reduced pressure. The residue was diluted with water (10 mL) and extracted with ethyl acetate (3×15 mL). The combined organic layer was dried with Na2SO4 and concentrated to afford a yellow solid, which was purified by reverse-phase prep-HPLC to afford 157 as a yellow solid (27 mg, 50%). MS-ESI: [M+H]+ 546.7. 1H NMR (500 MHz, DMSO-d6) δ 9.28 (s, 1H), 8.60-8.54 (m, 3H), 7.90 (s, 1H), 7.78 (d, J=16.0 Hz, 1H), 7.55-7.50 (m, 2H), 7.04 (s, 1H), 4.89 (t, J=6.5 Hz, 1H), 4.43-4.41 (m, 2H), 3.61 (s, 3H), 2.48 (s, 3H), 1.40 (s, 9H).
