0.35 ml (0.35 mmol) of a 1N solution of hydrochloric acid in dyethyl ether is added to 0.12 g (0.23 mmol) of 3-(4-fluorobenzyl)-1-methyl-6-[(1-pyridin-3-ylimidazo[1,5-a]pyridin-3-yl)carbonyl]quinazoline-2,4(1H,3H)-dione in 3 ml of methanol. After stirring for 1 hour at ambient temperature, the reaction medium is filtered. The precipitate obtained is rinsed with dyethyl ether, and dried under reduced pressure at 50° C. overnight. 0.12 g of a yellow solid is obtained.
