Reaction Steps
Reflux 4-trifluoromethylsulfonyl-benzene-1,2-diamine (420 mg) and CDI (284 mg) for 16 hours in CH3CN (30 mL). Evaporate the solvent in vacuo. Purify by flash chromatography (1:1 hexanes/EtOAc) to obtain 5-trifluoromethylsulfonyl-1,3-dihydro-benzimidazol-2-one.
