Methyl 2-(3-(bromomethyl)phenyl)benzo[d]oxazole-7-carboxylate (70 mg, 0.2 mmol) and pyrrolidine (56.8 mg, 0.8 mmol) were added to ethanol (30 mL) and the mixture was stirred at room temperature for 1 hr. The resulting mixture was evaporated under reduced pressure to obtain methyl 2-(3-(pyrrolidin-1ylmethyl)phenyl)benzo[d]oxazole-7-carboxylate (81 mg, yield 88%). LC-MS (ESI) m/z 337 [M+1]+.
