Methyl 2-(4-(bromomethyl)phenyl)benzo[d]oxazole-4-carboxylate (100 mg, 0.29 mmol) and dimethylamine (26 mg, 0.58 mmol) were added into ethanol (30 ml) and the mixture was stirred at 30° C. for 12 h. The resulting mixture was evaporated under reduced pressure. 60 mg of methyl 2-(4-((dimethylamino)methyl)phenyl)benzo[d]oxazole-4-carboxylate solid was obtained, yield: 44.5%. LC-MS (ESI) m/z: 311 (M+1)+.
