Procedure

245 mg (0.84 mmol) of crude (2-chlorosulfonyl-propyl)-carbamic acid benzyl ester in 3 ml dichloromethane were added dropwise to a solution of 143 mg (1.2 equiv.) 1-isopropyl-piperidin-4-ylamine and 214 μl DIPEA in 3 ml dichloromethane. After 2 h stirring at room temperature the reaction mixture was washed with 5 ml of a saturated NaHCO3-solution. The organic phase was dried over anhydrous MgSO4 and concentrated under reduced pressure to give crude [2-(1-isopropyl-piperidin-4-ylsulfamoyl)-propyl]-carbamic acid benzyl ester as yellow oil.
