607 mg (1.2 mmol) of crude [2-(1-isopropyl-piperidin-4-ylsulfamoyl)-1,1-dimethyl-ethyl]-carbamic acid 9H-fluoren-9-ylmethyl ester were dissolved in 6 ml DMF. 1.5 ml morpholine were added and the resulting mixture was stirred for 2 h at room temperature. The reaction mixture was filtered. The filtrate was concentrated under reduced pressure and co-distilled three times with 20 ml DMF to give crude 2-amino-2-methyl-propane-1-sulfonicacid (1-isopropyl-piperidin-4-yl)-amide as yellow oil. Yield: 360 mg MS (ES+): m/e=278.
