Procedure

A mixture of (2R)-2-(6-chloro-5-((2-hydroxybicyclo[2.2.1]heptan-2-yl)methylcarbamoyl)-1-oxoisoquinolin-2(1H)-yl)propyl acetate (31 mg, 0.000042 mol) and potassium carbonate (23 mg, 0.00017 mol) was stirred in methanol (3 mL, 0.07 mol) at room temperature for 1 hour and concentrated. The residue was purified by reverse phase preparative HPLC and then by flash chromatography to afford a white solid.
