To a solution of 402 (308 mg, 0.72 mmol) and NH4Cl (33 mg, 061 mmol) in 2:1 EtOH/water (9 mL) was added iron powder (345 mg, 6.17 mmol) and the suspension was heated to reflux for 1 hour. The reaction mixture was filtered through celite and concentrated to provide title compound 397 (350 mg, quantitative yield), that was used without further purification. MS (m/z): (M+1) 395.1 (100%).
