Reaction Steps
Preparation 19 is prepared from cyclopentene oxide and 1-bromo-3,5-dimethoxybenzene in a manner similar to preparation 10. 1H NMR (CDCl3): 6.41 (s, 2H), 6.33(s, 1H), 4.15 (dd, J=7.5 Hz, 1H), 3.78 (s, 6H), 2.81 (dd, J=9.2 Hz, 1H), 2.1 (m, 2H), 1.9-1.5 (m, 6H).
