Reaction Steps
Hydrogenate 1-Benzyl-4-[4-(4-fluoro-phenyl)-1H-imidazol-2-yl]-piperidine in 20% Pd(OH)2/C (Pearlman's catalyst) (0.15 gm) in 125 mL 2B EtOH, at 30° C. for 23 h at 60 PSI. Filter and concentrate to yield the title compound as an oil.
